OUR JOURNEY
From Local Roots to a Trusted Name Across the North West
Providing trusted accountancy, advisory, governance and finance support to growing businesses and charities, backed by genuine charity sector expertise.

About Us
Built on Expertise and Relationships That Last
For over a decade, businesses and charities across the North West have trusted ATS for deep expertise delivered with genuine care.
We’ve grown from a single Oldham office in 2013 into a firm with three offices avross Greater Manchester and St Helens, but the approach hasn’t changed: proactive advice, jargon-free explanations, and relationships that last.
Many of our clients have been with us for five to twelve years, which is the truest measure of the work we do.
The timeline
How We Got Here

Where It Started
ATS Accountants began in Chadderton, Royton and Oldham, providing tax advisory and accountancy services to local and national businesses.

Growing Across the Region
The practice expanded into Littleborough, Rochdale, Rainford and St Helens, broadening its services to payroll, bookkeeping, VAT, tax planning, tax investigations, charity accounting and independent examinations.

Recognised as an ICAEW Approved Training Employer
We celebrated twelve years in practice, and became an ICAEW Approved Training Employer, authorised to train the next generation of chartered accountants. A mark of the standard we hold ourselves to.

Three Offices, One Standard
Our head office is now in larger, purpose built premises near Kingsway Business Park in Rochdale, with further offices in Chadderton (Oldham) and Rainford (St Helens), serving businesses and charities across Greater Manchester and St Helens.

Values & community
The Same Values, and the Same Community
Through every stage of growth, the way we work has stayed the same. We plan ahead rather than react, we explain things in plain English, and we treat our clients’ businesses as if they were our own.
We’ve stayed close to where we started, supporting our local communities, from charities to the 3Cs Chess Club in Lees and local schools like North Chadderton School and Crompton House CoE School in Shaw. Growth hasn’t pulled us away from the places our clients call home.
